Photoshop problem (copyright)?

I'm trying to figure out the easiest way to create text as a shadow over a piece of artwork in photoshop. So it won't be copied over the internet when I'm famous, lol.

It's called watermarking. I use Paint Shop Pro so not sure what your menus are set out like.

Just go to help a-z and type in watermark.

Best of luck :)

create new layer. create your text on it and position it where you want. you can then either lower the opacity of the layer or if you look at the top of the layers box you will see a box called 'blend' try the different options in the drop down box there til you find one you are happy with.
Try using a watermark.
just type the text where you want it and then lower the opacity on the text layer to a level where it doesn't really interfere with the picture.
