alright well i know how to retouch photos to make them somewhat better, like masking the face, etc... but how do you like really retouch the photos? for example..

that couldn't of all been makeup, right? And if not how did they apply that much detail with photoshop and really make there skin shiny? there had to be some retoucing involve. So how do you really retouch a photo? is there a tutorial out there? To take an average girl and turn her into a model like you see in the magazines. If you have a tutorial it would be great! thanks for reading and please answer (:

There is no one answer to that, a combination of air-brushing and dodge and burn tools.
Practice with the software will help.

I am a web designer and I use photoshop every day. There is no make cool button you have to practice and learn lots of tricks. every situation is different and the people that do those touch-ups have years of artistic experience
