Photoshop question???? Can anyone help???

I'm new in using Photoshop...I cannot understand a few options....they're---

1)Clone tool

2)Masks (iIknow what're masks but i don't know how to work with 'em)

3)Vignetts %26 edges

hey buddy!

Clone tool: it works just like rubber stamp. Clone tool is mainly used to adjust the facial features with less opacity. Clone tool works exactly the same as rubber stamp, Just hold "alt" key and click on a source point( the place which u want to copy) and then just use your mouse to clone by clicking and dragging it just like brush.

Masks: Mask is simply to hide the area u dont to be shown in the final output. Apart from this masks are used to create alpha channels, for 3d use. It is mostly used for keeping transparency in picture.

Vignettes %26 edges: Edges are basically (exactly) the same as it means, the edges of the document or the edges of the object on a particular layer.It is exactly the outline or the outer border of the picture or object or element on the layer. Vignettes are the same as edges it means A photograph whose edges shade off gradually. So it is important in dealing with edges in photoshop, as they affect largely how the image looks( basically sharp or blurry) . It is a decision to make by seeing th photograph, if the edges should be blurry or sharp depending on the aesthetic values of that particular picture.
